Rick Paxton has been a firearms instructor for over 40 years, with 25 years in the
military and 16 as a civilian. As a Regional Manager with CCW Safe, Rick travels and
talks to folks about the realities of what happens if they use self-defense. Having served
as an expert witness on firearms in North Carolina, he understands the process you will
endure after defending yourself.
“What Happens After the Shoot” includes discussion about judicial, financial and
psychological issues that come with self-defense.
Rick holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and taught Homeland Security and
Criminal Justice at the College level for 10 years after retiring from the US Coast Guard.
