Corey Simon is a seasoned communications expert with over 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, where he specialized as a commo troop. He joined the Air Force immediately following the 9/11 terrorist attacks and served multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Horn of Africa. During his military career, Corey was responsible for installing and operating a wide range of communication systems, including HF, VHF, UHF, and satellite technologies, often in austere environments.
In addition to his military experience, Corey is a dedicated amateur radio operator with over 30 years of expertise, holding an extra-class license. He is proficient in both voice and digital communication, particularly in off-grid and emergency situations. Corey's hands-on experience extends to building solar power systems, further demonstrating his commitment to self-sufficiency and sustainable technology.
