Amber Toombs is the founder of Rustic Roots Heritage Homestead and co-founder of Mountain Readiness, dedicated to helping others embrace self-sufficiency, preparedness, and sustainable living. A three-time combat veteran with 13 years in the Army and six years in law enforcement, Amber now focuses on homesteading in North Carolina alongside her husband.
